Photo shows the typeThe EL16 battery shunting tractor is a compact shunting vehicle for locomotive depots and industrial plants. Since it produces no exhaust emissions and is only 4.25 m long, it can also be used inside enclosed workshop buildings.

Available items include a steam locomotive boiler with the frame of a four-axle Tkp Śląsk steam locomotive (Henschel design, photo shows the type). Anyone who does not want to have this locomotive restored to working order can have it set up as a static exhibit.
Together with a Polish railway engineer, we designed hand-lever draisines for various purposes, each built to order. They are based on historical Prussian hand-lever draisines for various track gauges.
Depending on the customer's wishes, benches or chairs can be fitted, with a metal or wooden frame. The seats are made of wood. The idea is to retain the historical look while incorporating modern safety features such as disc brakes.
Photo: Franz SonkA particularly exciting project was building a special draisine for journeys through a historic tunnel in Berlin that linked two parts of the AEG works underground in 1912. At the time, AEG's electric prototypes of an underground train ran on these rails.
Today the listed site is run by the association ‘Berliner Unterwelten’ (Berlin Underworlds), for which our draisine was built as a ‘metro substitute’.
